Contested: Humbly engaging tough topics
As a church our calling is to engage with our communities to bring the truth of Christ with the character of Christ. There are many challenging, emotion-filled conversations happening today that divide neighbors, families and churches. As we seek the renewal of Winter Park and the surrounding areas, part of our ministry comes through entering into these tough topics with a calm presence and gracious demeanor. Our hope over this 4 part series is to look at conversations our culture is having surrounding technology, gender and politics to be both grounded biblically and shaped spiritually for fruitful engagement for the flourishing of our communities.
Over June and July we will offer 4 classes asking the following questions:
Spiritual Warfare: What's really true? | June 23
Gender: Is it mine to decide? | June 30
Politics: Why are we so divided? | July 14
Technology: How should we use it? | July 21
We would love to have you join us for these important, thought provoking conversations as a way to serve our community and grow in our understanding of God's grace! All classes will take place at The Branch and childcare will be provided. For more information and how to sign up, please click the link below.
