What: We will be discussing the intersection of race and the gospel in our faith and community. The dignity of every person created in the image of God is essential to a Christian's new identity in Christ. Unfortunately, the implications of God's grace, that we are all created in his image, and in the gospel, being restored into Christ's image, has been lost in the history of our churches and communities, leaving instead the pain and divide of racism. To experience more of the grace we need to bring healing in our community we will be discussing together The Color of Compromise and the book of Galatians.
When: Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00pm.
Where: 9504 Cannom Drive, Orlando.
Due to Covid-19, all of our groups are meeting outdoors, every other week, in safe, yet intimate settings for the fall season.
Cost: Groups members will need to purchase The Color of Compromise prior to the group beginning. If finances are a barrier to join the group, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be glad to help!
Who: Led by Jeremy Schurke.
