Opportunity to be prayed for and to pray.

Prayer changes everything

At CrossPointe Winter Park, we believe prayer makes a difference. To that end we want to pray for you, and we would also love for you to pray for our church.

Pray For CrossPointe Winter Park

Our mission as a church is pointing our community to Jesus so that all people would Know God, Find Freedom, Experience Belonging, and Seek Renewal. We believe praying through our mission as a church is a great template to guide your prayers.

Pray that people would KNOW GOD

John 17:3 says this…

And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

Our desire is that people would truly know God. Not just in an intellectual sense, but in a deeply connected, relational sense.

Pray that people would FIND FREEDOM

John 8:31-32 says this…

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So many of us feel stuck. We feel enslaved. Slaves to sin patterns, to expectations of others, to being liked, to being attractive, to being funny. The list can go on and on. It’s idolatry. And Jesus wants to free us from it.

Pray that people would EXPERIENCE BELONGING

Romans 12:4-5 says this...

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

If you’re a follower of Jesus, it means you are part of His body. You belong.

Pray that people would SEEK RENEWAL

Jeremiah 29:7 says this…

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

All of us have a role to play in seeking the welfare, the flourishing, the renewal of our cities and communities. The time, talent, and treasure we have been given are not for our benefit alone, but for the good of our neighbor.
